In the Book of Exodus, the God of glory demonstrates his steadfast love for his covenant people. God saves his people for his glory and prepares his people for his lasting presence among them. And in so doing, the Book of Exodus helps the people of God in every generation to know God: his qualities, his character, and his will for his people and this world.

As Christians, we often think of what we are saved FROM – our sin, guilt, condemnation, Hell, etc. But the gospel produces a far more positive work in us.
