1 Peter: Hope in a Hostile World

As good as this world can be, ultimately it is a hostile place. But it is also the place into which God sent his son to redeem and gather a people for himself. This changes everything for God’s people, now and forever. Peter writes to such people who must endure hostilities in the name of Christ, and he points them to Christ so that they may live with great gospel power and purpose.
