Every human being is continually seeking and searching, but for what? The book of Job, the longest wisdom book of the Scriptures, at its very center focuses upon the most fundamental search of all, “But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?” In this New Year, and in the years to come, where will you find wisdom? The Scriptures teach that Christ, “became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” The Scriptures teach that Jesus calls and invites us to “the search;” that the Christian life is an asking, and seeking, and knocking. It is seeking until we find the Seeker.
