When asked the question, “What does God want of you?” many Christians answer with some spiritual discipline in which they feel they are lacking. “I need to clean up my act or prove myself more dutiful.” But Isaiah’s words in chapter 12 confront our tendency to relate to God by our works instead of by God’s grace. God’s desire is? That we drink in his grace, and when we do, we find that we experience our best life possible.
