Many think that if God judges anyone it will be those who are obviously bad. But those who mean well and do the right thing (at least most of the time), well certainly God will approve of their lives. In this section of Romans Paul shows us that it isn’t just the immoral and irreligious who need to repent, but so too the self-righteous need to repent of their moralistic record and trust only in the perfect righteous record of Christ.
