Summary:

When the day drew near for Jesus to fulfill his Father’s mission, he “set his face like flint.” Because of his great love for us, and because of our great need, he was not going to be hindered or waylaid or roadblocked or persuaded otherwise. As such, the “triumphal entry” of Christ into Jerusalem turns our expectations upside down, satisfies our deepest needs, and solves our deepest problem.
