Atlantic City - Urban Ministry Service TripSaturday, August 03, 2024 - Saturday, August 10, 2024 Download: Download EventTrip Details: WHO: For students entering grades 9-12WHEN: August 3-10, 2024COST: $425 We will be joining with youth from four other churches in the New York Metro and West Hudson Presbyteries to serve alongside New City Fellowship Church. We will spend the week doing various work projects and leading a bible camp in an impoverished area of Atlantic City. We will be working with a group called Hope for Atlantic City. They have been leading group like ours for years with the objective of revitalizing neighborhoods, developing leaders, and fulfilling the church’s calling to care for the poor, elderly and widows. We will be gathering for planning meetings in order to prepare for our trip. Our first meeting will be Sunday, June 2nd at 11:45 AM. A typical schedule for our trip is: SATURDAY EVENING: Arrive at our place of lodging and get settled in SUNDAY: Gather for worship at New City Fellowship Church Lunch with Congregation and Orientation Dinner and free time to explore the area MONDAY – THURSDAY: Morning devotionals Worship and Speaker Community Projects Lunch onsite Clean up Dinner together Canvassing or Bible Clubs in the Inner- City Evening debrief FRIDAY: Community Fun Day with Bible Club Kids Celebratory Dinner Out SATURDAY: Clean up and head home If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Lesley Middlekauff at
