Christians know we are saved by grace, but we tend to live each day before God as a performance. We tend to live as a guest in God’s house who must watch what they do instead of as a child who freely belongs. But the gospel presents us with an amazing truth: we stand in Grace. Which means grace is not something we return to when we fall short; grace is a place, a place where we stand because of Christ.
