There slogan “No pain, no gain” doesn’t just apply to weight lifting and sports, it also is what the LORD implements in the life of his people in Judah during Isaiah’s ministry. The people were content to keep God at arm’s length. He was irrelevant in their lives and failing in their calling to be a blessing to the world. So the LORD brings great loss in order to prepare them for glorious gain.
