The Samaritan woman runs back to her village to tell them about Jesus, but the disciples cannot see the harvest of God for they are hung up on earthly categories. But Jesus has “food” for them that they didn’t know about, food that empowers Jesus. The glorious will and work of God to save the world. Feeding upon Christ and his glory nourishes us and helps to lift our eyes and see the harvest.
