It is part of our human nature to take the simple and add to it unnecessary complexity. With regards to the simple gospel truth of Christianity, adding to the gospel hinders our walk with God. In this opening section of Colossians, Paul helps us to see that, in the gospel, God has given us everything we need to walk faithfully and fruitfully.
