Newspapers can point us to what is wrong with the world, but we need scripture to tell us how everything got to be so broken, and even more importantly, how God intends to fix it. In Genesis 3 we see calamity unleashed on God’s good creation, and we see God’s gracious response to send a child who will restore the world.
