We tend to forget, a lot. God’s deliverance of his people in the Exodus was an event that the nation quickly forgot. But throughout time the LORD continually reminds his people of his glorious deliverance of his people out of Egypt through the Red Sea. It is a story worth remembering for it points us to the deliverance we experience in Christ.
